Right.
Friday afternoon, I asked my son to make sure that he got all of his homework done, because we were going to be gone all weekend. He promised he would do it.
Last night, I asked him on the way home if he had done his homework. "I have a little left," he said.
When we got home, he then claimed that he remembered that he had finished it all.
At 9:50 this morning, he called to tell me that he had to stay after school today.
But it's not detention...
